This was our first time trying traditional fufu with okra soup and jollof rice and it was such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious but the staff was also extra kind talking us through each dish, what we should try, and how to eat it. We got carry out and the portions were great sizes, we are eating it again tonight! Thank you!

The man that took my order I’m not sure if he was the owner or not. He was very patient with me and he explained everything to me because I inform him that this is my first time eating African food and I asked him what he recommend and I got the spinach with meat and egg and rice and it’s good

Tried Ghanaian food for the first time. Waakye was the deal for me. I enjoyed every piece of grain in the food, very delicious and affordable. Good atmosphere, great service and customer relations. Will definitely visit again

These guys make the best peanut butter soup I've ever had! I get it with the rice balls. I wish they could make it without the fish (the bones are sneaky), but it's delicious nevertheless and they are very nice there. I'd post a picture of my meal if it were still here. ...

A beautiful Ghana cuisine selection with solid variety in a limited menu. The location has up close parking available in a shared plaza. There was plenty of seating, with a very clean and relaxed atmosphere. We tried two recommended meals by the hostess, and was not disappointed one bit! Highly recommend the Wakkye if you want to try a dish with variety, great flavors, and some heat available. Customer service was spot on, responsive, and very courteous. If you're looking to trying West African cuisine please check this place out!
